Since buying the car at 20K miles, the front and especially rear doors on my MDX 2013 will not stay open when getting in or out of the car. This defect is extremely annoying and dangerous, especially since I have a 1.5 year old child now that could be seriously injured from this problem. This is more than an inconvenience, but a safety issue. I had my SUV completely inspected by the Acura dealer service in early 2016 while my car was still under warranty and I did tell the service regarding the problem (Attached the invoice for the mentioned inspection and service). They claimed to have never heard of such a problem (with all due respect: Yeah, right).
Multiple attempts to fix the issue under warranty did not yield any resolution. Now that my car is at 60K miles, Acura said it'll not be covered under warranty. They did not want to pay a mere $600 for a such a huge safety issue. Tons of internet forums are full of Acura customers who are complaining about the same exact issue. Clearly, this is not supposed to happen within the mid-size luxury SUV class. Even the cheapest car won’t do this. No more Acura. Ever.
