Took to dealer in Florida and they ran a smoke test which showed a leak in a rubber hose on top of fuel tank. Smoke test about $150.00 to conduct. Not sure if hose was leaking due to an inferior part or damage during vehicle assembly. The hose in a secluded spot was not damaged by accident or other abuse.
Part not in stock so we had to schedule another visit. Price to fix $1202.02 For a grand total of about $1,500 for a faulty hose which would cost about $3.00 to Honda. Probably saved a few pennies by using a lower grade rubber or ?
