Vibration and chatter noise while accelerating between 15to 50 miles per hr..the vehicle is a 2004 Acura MDX with about 100,00 miles on it now noise is very bad and seems to be getting more often and louder we just bought this vehicle in Feb 2010 if would have known this had this problem we wouldn't have bought it something needs to be done by the manufacture to take care of this, there seems to be alot of MDX units with this problem.
2004 Acura MDX torque converter issue (vibration/ shudder / grinding between 30-50 mph while accelerating. Nothing has been done to repair yet waiting until it becomes a bigger problem.
Sudden transmission failure on the highway. Lose all power from the engine to the wheels. Has to pull over suddenly in traffic to avoid being hit by other cars traveling at normal speed. The transmissions on Honda/Acura V6S apparently have systematic problems.

All Acura MDX have the following problems- and all are very expensive to fix. Acura dealers and corporate does not care to listen- because we fools keep buying there cars. - all transmissions will fail very early. Cost (4,800) - all motor mounts will fail (1000) - horn, cruise, audio controls will fail. ( 400). Plus lots of other issues.
After shifting out of reverse into drive, the vehicle continued in reverse until the consumer turned off the vehicle and restarted it. Dealer was notified.
