The power steering pump has been making a whining noise since shortly after I purchased the vehicle. But it has gotten steadily worse. replaced the o-rings in the line and that helped, but now have a leaking high pressure Hose and absolutely no power steering. Acura wants $800 to replace a hose that I know others have had the same issue with. The vehicle needs to be recalled for excessive engine temps causing premature deterioration of this hose and probably other hoses. When the fluid started leaking the engine compartment was smoking.
