Tire brand/type: Cooper CS4 P235/65R17 dot U981 clh 2814 purchase date: Jan 24, 2015 w/extended road hazard coverage component: Outer wall splitting and fraying with signs of bubbling vehicle: 2003 Acura MDX AWD location: Front passenger side- during routine psi check I noted the outer wall was spitting and had rubber fraying in conjunction which had not been there previously. The splitting is exactly 2 1/2 inches long and 0.2 inches wide going vertical starting where the tire and rim meet. There is also signs of bubbling under the split revealing signs of eminent rupture. Psi was taken and measured 30. Requirements for vehicle is 32. I did not proceed with correcting psi from 30-32 due to this issue.
