There were two different times my Acura 2013 ILX was involved in two different accidents and the airbags didn-??t deploy. 1. Back on 4/2018 brakes didn-??t respond properly, then ceased to another vehicle and airbags didn-??t deployed. No major injuries, but high bills. 2. January 2019, my husband was rear ended by an Audi, was sent to the opposite side of the street, car was total loss, airbags never deployed. He suffered MAJOR injuries, couldn-??t walk for two months, used a walker after that for over two years, suffered dislocated discs, neck and his whole body is not the same anymore. Can-??t tell anymore how many procedures he has been through.

The light on my 2013 Ilx are being foggy and show diminish light. Door latch acts up sometimes as well- it lock and then it does not unlock. Passenger airbag always is out of wack- it says that they are off then on...
My airbag deflator every year has a malfunction and I can't pass my inspection. This is the 3rd year in a row that this happens to me. No accident, as soon as car starts up asks to check airbag system.

I believe my VIN # should be included in the recall for drivers air bag. I have had the drivers air bag fixed Jan 2019 and now will have to have it fixed in a couple weeks as the air bag lights are going on again for the drivers air bags. I see there are recalls for 2013 Acura Ilx but for some reason my VIN # is not coming up. Please investigate further.
I went in for a airbag recall back in 2016 I got in a car accident on 7/30/19 which totaled my car but my air bags never deployed which caused a injury to the left side of my head from me hitting the steering wheel. Police said the airbags should of deployed from how bad the accident was.
Takata recall: Car driven by my son in college. He returned for summer late May 2016. Vehicle taken to dealer for recall. Airbags not in stock. Left for college again late August with new airbag not available. Dealer said they were instructed by Acura to do personally owned vehicles last. Called by dealer late 2016 that airbag was in - but car now 1000 miles away. Terrible!!!!!

Takata recall. Acura called me mid April stating that parts had been ordered to fix the recalled airbags of my car. I called in July to determine when the parts would be in and they said they didn't know. That was over 90 days ago. I'm starting to wonder if Acura really has the parts available.
Takata recall - I have a received a letter from Acura from March 2016 advising of the safety recall of airbags. The Acura website advises to "please contact an authorized Honda or Acura dealership immediately to schedule an appointment to have your vehicle repaired". but the dealership advises they do not have the parts & cannot advise a more accurate timeframe of when I can schedule an appointment to get the issue rectified. It has been 3 months since I first received the letter, but the standard response I receive is "it will be sometime during June & August". I have also logged a formal case for my inquiry (case# 04619491) on Apr 18, 2016 but have not received any further follow ups. It just does not seem that Acura is treating this issue with urgency & have been very complacent, as I have received no additional new updates. Please enforce Acura to deal with this matter more urgently & expedite a resolution - awaiting over 3 months with no new progress updates is simply unacceptable.
