My 2003 Pontiac has a clicking in the dash underneath the hazard switch. When I turn on the signal the clicking goes in rhythm with the signals but when I turn the signals off it continue to click, sometimes fast sometimes slow. At first it would only happen very rarely. I am afraid for my child and I it may be a shorter that may cause a fire. I feel there should be a recall on this problem with all the complaints of this matter. Please look into this matter and let me know what is going on. I have spoken with many many people who experience the same problem with their GM vehicle. Why is the 2003 excluded from this recall"?" this problem started with me back in 2007 and I am still having this same problem. I need you to fix the problem before anything bad happen. Thanks

There is a clicking under my hazard lights. When I use the turn signal is goes to the regular rhythm. It occurs every time.

- the contact owns a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am GT. The current and failure mileage was 81,000. The contact 's vehicle had the same failurethe failure that was mentioned in recall #03V327000; exterior lighting:hazard flashing warning lights:switch where the turn signals/hazard lamps worked intermittently. Several times since purchasing my 2003 Pontiac, there is intermittent clicking coming from the hazard switch area in the instrument panel and several instances of tail light, turn signal, and hazard light failure. Have had the problem diagnosed by a mechanic and was told it is coming from the multi function switch in the steering column and will cost more than $300 to fix. I have found other reports of this malfunction from Pontiac owners from 1999 up through 2004 and have not been able to find a recall for anything other than the hazard switch. My hazard switch has been replaced and did not alleviate the problem.
