I have a 2017 Tahoe Premier which I purchased in 2018 with 3,900 mi on it. The cost was $54,000. I am very upset that the paint on the rest of my vehicle still looks pretty much brand new except for a few dings from rocks on the highway or weed wacker at work. There should be no reason why the clear coat on the hood and roof of my Tahoe should be dull, faded or discolored when the rest of the truck pretty much looks immaculate.I have seen at least three other vehicles with this same issue, one being a GMC Denali and the other two being Tahoe's. GMC and or Chevy should pay to fix this issue. Repaint/Recall. This makes the value way less than it should be if an owner has taken very good care of their investment. I say a Class- Action is in order. There are a plethora of vehicles I'm talking tens and hundreds of thousands that are on the road all over the country some older, some the same year as my Tahoe that does not having fading or discoloration to their paint.
