The pulled code is a 048 - excessive torque converter slippage, which results in a check engine light that will cause you to fail an emissions test. I first encountered this issue at 79k miles on 10/2009. Unless you have your own means of pulling codes and resetting the CEL, this is a major problem to deal with as you never know when you have a real issue happening. The issue is that you effectively loose TC lockup, which is almost like loosing your top gear and affects gas mileage. I lived with the issue for about 20k miles and finally had the TC replaced with a rebuilt unit at around 100k miles on 1/2012.
