— Nissan is recalling 82,000 model year 2013 Altima, LEAF, Pathfinder, Sentra, and Infiniti JX35 vehicles because the passenger air bag could fail in a crash.
Nissan says sensors within the passenger occupant detection system may have been manufactured out of specification which could cause the air bag to be suppressed permanently.
The recall is expected to begin in April, 2013. Nissan dealers will inspect the air bag sensors and replace them as necessary.
