While driving on Interstate with Moon Roof/Sun Roof open, the glass shattered and rained down on my husband and me. We had no warning....like an alleged "rock" hitting the glass...just glass raining down on us. Luckily my husband was wearing a ball cap, which prevented the glass from hitting him in the eyes, but the glass could have blinded him, resulting in an accident. Both sides of the Moon Roof/Sun Roof deteriorated into 45 degree tears. I don't buy the alleged "rock" theory, but believe it was a stress fracture caused by a poor design. Please look at the pictures before you buy a Venza with a Moon Roof/Sun Roof. My car only had 2,000 miles on it. I would never drive on the Interstate with my Moon Roof/Sun Roof open again.
