I loved vehicle until now. The vehicle experienced this problem when new, all steering functions were not working including horn. There was a scraping noise from steering wheel when turning wheel. Dealer replaced clock spring and other wiring under warranty. Fast forward the same problem happened this September 2017, went to dealer (Smithaven Dodge on Long Island) they want me to pay for a clock spring $800.00 out of warranty they say. Meanwhile I have no horn, no steering wheel functions on any buttons and God forbid an accident, airbag will mot deploy . To me this is a serious safety issue that should be recalled and covered, after all this would be third clock spring in 3 and a half years! How many clock springs have to be changed? Look up recall # S33 for Jeep Wrangler and X68 ? This is the same manufacturer ! They want people to be injured or killed before they act.
