I bought Rouge 2013 at the end of August from Morningside Nissan Dealer (Toronto, Canada), I found the sunroof was wet when it was raining in September. I could not believe it was leaking at that time because it is a brand new car and the sunroof was from Nissan Manufacturer... Until one day I went to a touchless car wash, I found sunroof rubber seal was completely wet and water was dropping. Surprising + Disappointing!!!
I went to Morningside Nissan dealer after car wash. The service department helped to check the sunroof and changed a complete set under warranty. The dealer told me it was fixed. When I went to dealer store to pick up my car on Saturday, I found it was still leaking as it was raining that day and my car was parked in dealer's outdoor parking lot. The service lady also saw the water under the sunroof rubber. She told me that mechanic was not in on weekends, so I should bring my car again during week days. Then I drove my car back to dealer on a week days for repairing... again and again... Today is November 13, my sunroof still can not be fixed after several 'repairs'. Desperate + Eagerly looking forward to a solution!!!
I have driven Nissan cars my all life because I think Nissan is a good brand with high quality. I sold my old Altima and bought new Rouge. My old car never bother me, but this new Rouge brought me so much trouble due to sunroof leakage. I took leave during working days and I could not complete my work. My boss is not happy with me. I did not get paid for those days I left. The sunroof is still leaking. I wasted my time and my fuel. I have no idea how many times I should go to Morningside dealer, and then my car can be fixed completely.
Today, I address this letter to tell you about the problem. I also worry about my roof (got rust?) and electrical system due to water coming from sunroof leakage. I need a skilled mechanic to fix the leaking problem immediately. I also need compensation about it. I am not sure if sunroof leakage is one of defectives for Rouge. If it is a defective car, I want to get a new car to replace it. I am so desperate and need help...
