I just purchased a new 2003 Nissan Maxima. They take you in the backroom and sell you warrantees and policies to protect stolen cars - on and on and never mention a problem they are fully aware of - stolen headlights. Nissan's answer was twofold- it only happens in New York and they kill people for wheels. I am so angry and frustrated. The police say it happens over and over and my insurance has been raised. $2000 was for only 1 headlight. Why don't they come up with an answer and install it or even ask me to pay for it.
