- Silicone On Door Jamb - I found specific pictures of where to put the silicone and my leak on passenger side seems mostly solved. Jeep dealer wanted to give it a shower, replace seal, but didn't seem to know problem. I ran through car wash and could see trickle coming down plastic piece...seems the plastic piece on door jamb post next to ceiling by roll bar essentially acts like a funnel, but still not certain where water is coming in. Silicone prevents it from draining on my floorboard!!

Not sure what to do.....I have a brand new 2016 Wrangler that appears to have a leak on the drivers side. I've owned a 1997 jeep for the last 17 years (bought used) that did the same thing when it would rain hard. I just expected that this is what would happen. But I did not expect it with my brand new one! My carpet was soaking wet this morning after it rained overnight, but it was a steady rain not a deluge so not sure why this would have happened? I'm going to contact the dealer and see if there is a solution for this? Not sure what else to do.
