I researched thoroughly before handing the car over to the dealer. I explain that without apparent cause the starter button would not function. The car would not attempt to turnover. Naturally they explained it was probably just the remote battery. I mentioned that I had two remotes and when this occurred neither would start the car. I explained that the remote keys did open the car. He pointed out that the red light on the remote was out which supported the dead battery theory. He then turned off the car and of course the red light went on. I did not need to explain why. I apologized for sounding like a doctors patient who has learned everything from Readers Digest, but if he was interested there was endless information on the internet regarding this issue. In the end we agreed that unless he could duplicate the problem resolution was unlikely. The car is still at the dealers. Even though this occurs every week or two, I am concerned about driving any significant distance.
