We purchased the car three days ago. When we brought it home that day, there was a problem with the lock. When we used the key fob, it wouldn't unlock the driver's side lock. We had to use the key and manually open it. Once the door was opened, we couldn't lock or unlock it using the button on the door. The next 30 times we tried to open the door or use the lock/unlock button on the door on the inside or use the key fob, it was the same thing - the lock would not work. Then on the 31st time, it did and it continued to work for about 12 hours. Then it started happening again so I scheduled an appointment. It didn't work all morning until I got to the dealer. Then it started working again. The problem is intermittent and the dealer says that they can't even look at it unless it is actively happening because it won't show up on their diagnostics if it's working. I think there is a wire loose. I'm SO frustrated that my BRAND NEW car is possibly defective.
