I have the same complaint that many F150 drivers have. The seat cooling function on this truck is not worth turning on in the summer in Arizona. You would think this function should be great and will use it all the time, and your right. But it doesn't work. The bottom seat cools you down that works great. The backrest feels like you have the heater on your back. I feel the back of the seat and the motors are hot. I took it in to the dealer and they said they know of this issue but its a ford design. Now I was in Reno Nevada in summer and this function works great. So it might be a combination of extreme weather and altitude. But then again if your cabin is cooled down and you turn on your cool seats why does it get HOT? Maybe Ford needs to look at this issue in the states its happening instead of their home base. I know Ford can have an engineer fix this issue. Dont tell me Kia has figured this issue out cause my wife's Optima cool seat works great.
