after replacing 2 sets of spark plugs, new wires, new intake gasket-didn't help. done compression check number 2, 4 cylinder-not enough compression.
took to garage-both valves burned and the other two weren't much better.
the pistons were even stuck from being gunked up. was in the garage 3 months-then was told to use nothing but 93 octane. was using mid grade but not now. the valves was made of poor metal.
hard to get parts-had to order valves from Chrysler Co. thought I was going to have to get new head but was able to have it worked on. plus, garage had a hard time putting valves in head without special tool. then, after having the valves put in, they didn't work right-had to have different ones-they was too tall so had to order more and pay more out of my pocket.
also had new timing belt installed and serpentine belt installed.
no sooner got it home about 2 months later had to put crankshaft position sensor in. now camshaft position sensor and all is dealer item. so more money. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
