Usually happens when going very slow or stopped. the first time i started from a light and 2 seconds later it died. put it in park and it started and ran fine. second time at stop sign intersection and it died while i was waiting for other to go. put it in park started and ran fine. 3rd time same a second time. the weird thing I noticed is all three occasions my wheel was turned a lot to the left and to the right. one right, two left.

driving along when the engine shuts off; coast to the shoulder of the road; wait a couple minutes; starts right up again. Computer code indicates engine lost contact with vehicle computer. Mechanic can't fix unless it happens while he's driving. No warning when it will happen again. Happened twice in the past 2 months; once on the interstate when I was traveling 80MPH and another time on a 2 lane state road at 45MPH. Scared to drive the car.

Car shuts of randomly while driving, it restarts always, but makes driving unsafe and sometimes very frustrating when it shuts of in traffic or on a hill.

Someone please advise me on possible solutions if you have had this problem.

I took it to a mechanic, but he says he sees nothing wrong, but clearly there is.
