Truck starting running a little off in idle would die, then take off, like surging . Inspected fuel pump so bought a cheap one twice put them in, then put in oem pump fuel pressure was still dropping so did the fuel regulator in intake. Still running just not good, so I did timing chain, lots of fun with oil pan in the way. Running seems to be worse, cap and rotor, then tried to drive it but distributor wasn't down all the way like I thought and bent rod in distributor, rebuilt the distributor with an old one still no better, seems like it just got worse a little at a time.
I started testing circuits and sensors but crank sensor had no ground and signal wire had 13.45 volts. wtf keep trying every day now its been like 3 weeks I've worked on it all day checking everything , watching YouTube videos, reading manual but no luck, replaced coil, crank sensor, distributor and the rest of 800$ in parts, I'm sick of it all.
Seems fine today, didn't find the short but looked for hours and hours again. Put it all back together tried to start but no luck then code po1351, that's a new one, which I forgot to mention pulled fuse on air bag one morning then realized I had no day lights, no dash lights, no codes who knows what else, later that day put fuse back in and all comes back to life wtf, I'm no expert but I bet you nothing should be on air bag circuit what do I do. I'm tired of it love the truck its real clean and took very good care of it but enough of this sh*t.
