1994 Chevy Blazer, 2wd does have faulty abs system. Chevy did everything they could to avoid making it right. Denied there was a defect, in spite of thousands of complaints submitted to Natl Traffic Safety Board, from dealers as well as consumers. They were eventually forced to recall the 4wd, and after that the 2wd. I won my arbitration case and they were forced to replace my vehicle.
Chevy is no less guilty than Toyota. Toyota was just unfortunate enough to have the death of an entire family recorded as it was happening, and the news media went on a feeding frenzy. I now realize I should have continued the battle, even after I won my case, as there are no doubt there are folks out there that were deemed responsible for accidents, even deaths, due to this defect. Chevrolet should be held under no less scrutiny than Toyota. If you have, or had, one of these Blazer killing machines, start griping, ranting, yelling and anything else you can do. Maybe the news media will discover another fresh kill to relish. That's the only way the manufacturers will ever change their "bottom line profit" is all that matters attitude!
