EGR valve replacement at 60k miles
2 years ago while driving the 2020 Connect we got an error code P0400 which indicated that there's an issue with the EGR valve. The shop cleared the code and the van runs fine. it's now been another 2 years and the code resurfaced. This time we thought best to just replace the EGR Valve. The issue is, it's a false code but we replaced the valve anyway. The issue is that the two main ports in the valve are getting clogged with carbon build up causing the valve to get stuck open or closed. which cause the lack of acceleration and poor fuel economy. So if you get any EGR Valve code best have the valve replaced or even cleaned.
