Clear coat flaking on throughout vehicle, hood, roof, side
I have owned my vehicle since 2019, bought it used. I was happy at first with my purchase but now feel like I was sold a lemon. Transmission was replaced in 2020 (luckily under warranty) along with my AC that broke and carpet in rear is patchy, paint started to fade, then the clear coat started to flake on the passenger side, it started small now is predominant on the entire right side of my vehicle. Shortly thereafter, the hood and roof began to fade, looks like it never had a clear coat. It is embarrassing, newer vehicle that has the paint that looks like crap! I asked the dealership about it when I first noticed and asked if it was covered under my warranty and was told that it was not!
Talk about upset, I asked several others and they stated they hadn't had any other complaints. Now when driving, I have seen many other suburban's, same year with the same issue; I have even gone as far to snap pictures of their vehicles (these defects are all in the same place on the vehicle). I was going to file a complaint with Chevy when I ran a class-action lawsuit against Chevrolet for the same issues. Not sure if I can add myself to this lawsuit, but figured this is another avenue; look at the pictures of my vehicle, absurd! I will continue to pursue this issue! Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to GRIPE, RANT AND YELL!
