I first noticed this after locking the doors with the key fob. I checked the driver's door to make sure it was locked. The door opened. I tried locking the door manually without success. The local dealer told me that the door opening and locking mechanism would have to be replaced. Parts alone would cost $125 plus tax, add labor & the bill came up to $380. I did not get it repaired. I just figure that I'll never carry anything in the car worth stealing. The manual transmission is a bit of a theft deterrent these days since only a small percentage of people can drive one (google it).
