So my cylinder 3 has a psi of 40 when it’s supposed to be at 150. I’ve been reading the articles about the heavy oil consumption on Kia’s and Hyundai's I believe my car should be a part of that class action suit. I’ve never had any issues before like this. I got a new transmission two years ago and now this seems to me like a Kia problem. I’m no longer in warranty and I get regular maintenance and whatever that needs to get done immediately. So it sucks that now I’m out of a car and when I add my bin to the Kia class action settlement it doesn’t count which I think it should since it’s having the exact same problem as the ones in the settlement.

I bought this car in November 2018. Eight months later the entire engine failed and the $7000 should be covered under Kia's extended warranty, but Kia isn't covering it. So I'm screwed.

Update from Jul 25, 2022: I meant I bought in November of 2021. I accidentally put 2018 because the car is a model 2018, but I did buy it used in 202.

2018 Kia Soul Engine Lost power coming off the highway. LUCKILY turned on a corner with a park and ride next to it safely without getting hit. Tried turning over the engine twice with no luck and the third time just to get myself home. Oil light, Battery light and engine light all on. JUST GOT AN oil change less than 2000 miles before this happened. Dipstick says NO OIL. Really?!!! $11,000 left on the car and there’s no recall?!!!! You must be joking! If this happens to you, I hope you give your local dealership hell as I am about to do. This is ridiculous. If I lost power on the highway I’d Be DEAD. Kia you need to fix this NOW. Contacted you and I got no call back or answer when called. Ridiculous.
