Normally when Clifford (the Big Red Car) would go into Drive you would have to hold him back as he was quite eager to please. He stopped doing that on the morning in question and was a little sluggish getting going. He started fine just slow. Then I went to store, came back and my boyfriend and I took him out to visit a friend. On our way home on the highway going 110 kph Clifford had had enough. He just died and there was no more acceleration. Pulled off to side of road and towed him home where he now sits and awaits the tow truck to the scrap yard. Shame as he was inspected for another 2 years and new everything else. Just can't afford a new transmission. Wishing there was something I could have done. So sad. Such a great car.
