At the supermarket, I went to start and "POP"!! Opened the hood and my coil pack was holding my spark plug laying on the top of the motor. So...I drove it home like this (a very short distance). Tried to re-thread the plug, and it would not torque. I looked a helocoil fixes, but heard bad reviews (at the time). I lived near an auto salvage yard, and heads where not expensive there. So, R/R'd the head. If you are not mechanically inclined, I would not attempt this repair. It is very extensive with an installed motor. Bad design by Ford, as the thread depth for the spark plug was not sufficient.
