The drivers side electric door lock wouldn't work with the key fob if the temperatures outside were over about 95 degrees F or below about 30 F. It's very frustrating because I would leave the car and click the lock button on my key fob to return to an unlocked drivers side door! Luckily I never had anything stolen and found that I needed to double click my key fob - it the horn didn't sound then I knew the door wasn't locked so I'd return to lock the door manually.
