The EV battery totally failed, six months and a bit over 6,000 miles after purchasing this rather expensive electric vehicle. They towed it for free to the dealer, and that is the last time it was at my house. It has been nearly three months since the car was towed, and neither the dealer nor Hyundai headquarters can tell me when it will be fixed.
They are bad at communicating, and simply say the batteries are "in transit". They have been "in transit" for a month now. Reading online, I see that people are being told six months wait time, but no one really knows if even that is enough, since so many cars have been recalled and there is apparently a shortage of batteries.
At the least, they should be telling us what to expect, but they are saying nothing.
