I have an accord ex 90. Recently i changed the timing belt and now the car starts heating up. the cooling fan should start when the temperture gauges hits the mid way point but it starts when the arrow is almost to the red. In other words, the cooling fan has a late start. What's surprising is that when I have the AC on the car works fine, ironic huh. Usually a car heats up with the AC on not off. I have changed both thermo switches the one in the front and the one in the back with genuine honda parts. I also changed the sensor that sends the reading to the dashboard gauge (this is not a genuine honda part). what can be my problem? Why does the cooling fan start late?
