I wanted this to be my forever truck. I'm 77 yrs old., did not want to buy a new truck. Chassis was discontinued in 2012 no longer available. Too rusty to weld is what I been getting for repair estimates. Best offer yet is from a scrap yard for $600. For now I'm just going to take it off the road. The rear spring shackle mounts could fail and cause a serous problem. My GMC dealer has already had this happen to a customer.. They also declared that they are handling three complaints a week of unsafe frames. This is outrageous!!!
