The car lurches periodically when placed into reverse or drive. The rpm's jump by about 300rmp and if you don't have your foot on the brake, you will hit anything near the front or rear of the car depending on the transmission setting. This is obviously is very dangerous and potentially very expensive i.e., hitting a pedestrian, property or collision damage. There are service bulletins from Ford but no recall. NHSTA should compel Ford to issue a recall and do what they are paid to do with our money.
