Heard a sudden loud BANG followed by a succession of bangs, thought I had a blowout on the highway. Dropped the vehicle at VIP the next day. They told me that the spark plug ejected and they could fix it but recommended that I take it to a Ford dealership as this is a known issue and they have a better method of repairing it so it's less likely to blow out again. Brought it to the dealership got it repaired, the tech told me that 9 times out of 10 it's spark plug #3 with this issue. Yet there is no recall for this and I had to pay for the repair!
