I have always been a Ford man. But this is very annoying and after reading about the problem just down right makes me mad.Why wont Ford step up and fix problems when they down right know it's a problem. I will think long and hard before I ever buy another Ford truck. The drive shaft is another thing that is a problem. You have to replace the whole drive shaft when the U joints go bad. This is very disappointing to me. My family has always driven ford trucks but they have been changing to a different manufacture other than Ford. Ford you are going to loose your loyal customer base if you wont stand behind your product.Their are to many choices out there right now for people to chose a manufacture that wont fix a problem that is with the way it was engineered.
Until you step up and start standing behind what you are selling I wont be back as a customer. I have many friends that have owned your newer diesel trucks and have been very disappointed and are now driving a Chevy or Dodge and will never buy a ford again. Keep going in the direction you are going and you will be out of business. " STEP UP" Your truck is a major purchase 40,000 to 75,000 dollars. That's not chump change. I do under stand there are going to be mistakes but you as a company should be there after the sale to make it right.
So I guess it's good bye Ford and hello Chevy or Dodge.
